The EDURom LTTA activity “Design and Implementation of Non-Formal Education Programmes” continued in Bucharest, hosted by project partner Pe Bune.

Following the initial sessions focused on exchanging experiences and coordinating upcoming project activities, the partners moved into a more practical phase of the programme.

Experiencing non-formal learning from the inside

Through a range of practical activities, participants had the opportunity to explore different methods of non-formal learning and teaching – not only by discussing them, but by experiencing them themselves.

Taking part in activities from the perspective of learners helped the partners better understand how different methods work in practice, what makes them engaging and how they can be adapted to different groups, learning styles and needs.

This practical approach provided an opportunity to test ideas, reflect on the experience and consider how similar methods could be used in the partners’ own educational work.

Digital and soft skills in focus

A particular focus of the sessions was placed on digital skills and soft skills, including communication, teamwork and career guidance.

Through practical tasks and group work, participants explored different approaches to developing these skills and exchanged experiences from their own educational contexts.

These skills are increasingly important for participation in education, employment and wider society. For EDURom, understanding how they can be developed through accessible and engaging non-formal learning is particularly relevant to the project’s wider goals.

Learning through exchange

The LTTA also demonstrated the value of learning from one another.

Each partner brings different experiences, methods and perspectives. Bringing these together creates an opportunity to question existing approaches, discover new possibilities and develop ideas that can be adapted to different contexts.

The practical sessions in Bucharest therefore became more than a series of workshops. They were a space for experimentation, reflection and collaboration.

Strengthening cooperation through practice

The LTTA activity in Bucharest is an important part of the ongoing cooperation between EDURom partners.

By testing new methods together, discussing what works and sharing experiences, the partners are building knowledge that can support the development of future non-formal education activities within the project.
